ABOUT THE ARTIST
Vicky Huang
Vicky is a Chinese artist specialising in textile printing and linocut. Following her studies at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, she completed her Master’s in Textiles from the Royal College of Art, London. Her work is inspired by traditional Chinese art, which she brings to life through modern printmaking.
Now creating from her studio in Fife, Scotland, Vicky works closely with a hand relief press. She approaches printmaking as a physical and spiritual practice, embracing its slow rhythm to craft pieces that celebrate the quiet beauty of nature and the present moment.

THE PROCESS
A Slower Way of Making
Each print begins with research, drawing, and close attention to detail. Through carving, inking, pressing, and layering, Vicky embraces the beautiful imperfections of printmaking, where every mark carries the trace of the hand.
